well, that was interesting.
fun. elation. decadent dissolve into the depths of daring until dawn.
or...something like that.
Katrina's performance at Mr. Spot's Chai House was exquisite, a nice beginning to a wonderful evening.
It was a great spell of synchronicity when the door squeaked open to reveal Ali and Roberta, two kind souls I had only just met two days prior at a small gathering at Alli's house. Alli and Ali, twin soul mirror reflections if there ever was to be such a thing...they would epitomize it. Beauty. Sheer beauty.
So Ali and Roberta walk in, after I was already happily comfortable in the presence of Maureen, and to find that Aiden and Courtney just happened to be there on the couch...how unexpected, how grand! We all must really hang out much more often.
The rest...cold, quiet streets of Langley at 1am. Photographs taken, the ad is done. Thank goodness. And it looks quite nice...simple, but nice.
Further...truly madly deeply craziness... Comfort and passion entwined in a lovely harmonious embrace. Thank you.
It's been quite the strange trip these last few months. Ups, downs, insides, and outs... Pulling and being pulled in every direction, opening, awakening, being, giving, receiving. Life love and the beat of it all.

Yes. I know. It's not the historical aspirations of the Bohemians of the late 1800's and early 1900's. But it is one of my favorite films, and I will not be embarassed for admitting to it. It makes me cry in joy of its truth. So I shall use its catch-phrase all I want. Even four years later. It's still quite wonderful.
::sigh::
...aaaaaah.
a breath of fresh relief and wellness in abundance.
Live, it seems, is good.
